Job summary

Oro Safety Glass Sdn Bhd in Sungai Petani is seeking a Diploma-qualified Production Planner to plan daily production and coordinate delivery schedules, ensuring customer orders are completed on time according to company standards.

You will collaborate with Production, Sales and Customer Service, monitor progress, optimize routes and costs, analyze data and maintain ERP records to support management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Develop and manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient logistics operations.
• Liaise closely with Production, Sales, Customer Service and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production and delivery coordination.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential delays and coordinate corrective actions to meet delivery deadlines.
• Optimize production planning, delivery routes and transportation costs to improve overall operational efficiency.
• Analyse production and logistics data to identify areas for improvement in productivity, cost efficiency and delivery performance.
• Ensure finished goods are properly scheduled, prepared and delivered according to customer requirements and company standards.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage production planning, order tracking, inventory records and delivery status.
• Maintain accurate production and delivery records, and prepare relevant reports for management review.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between production and logistics teams to achieve operational targets.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
