HICOM-Teck See is seeking a Production Planning and Control Executive in Melaka to develop production schedules and manage stock levels for multiple models. The role requires forecasting, vendor coordination, and reporting to ensure timely production and delivery.

The candidate should have a degree and up to 1 year of related experience, with strong analytical and Excel skills to support continuous improvements in manufacturing operations.

Job Description

• 1. Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks with the plan completion time to meet customer order and generates work order based from the schedules.
• 2. Managing and controlling stock levels for respective models.
• 3. Generate forecasts and process purchase requisition for raw from the approved vendors. The forecasts are to be email to all vendors respectively monthly.
• 4. The planner must use lead-time information to ensure that materials are received in a timely manner for production needs and verify the receipt.
• 5. Monitor the performance of vendors
• 6. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• 7. Determine root causes for part shortages & implement permanent corrective action.
• 8. Production achievement reports

Requirements

• 1. A recognized degree in any field
• 2. Fresh graduates or 1 year working experience in production planning or in manufacturing environment.
• 3. Knowledge in MRP, inventory management
• 4. Understanding of production operations, including production flow for the different processes
• 5. Good analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills
• 6. Negotiation skills
• 7. Excellent in computer skills, Excel spreadsheet
