Job summary

SkyGate Integration Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planner to optimize manufacturing schedules based on sales forecasts and project orders.

You will coordinate across production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure on-time shipments while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or higher in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields, with at least 2 years of experience in production planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning or production management preferred.
• Experience in electronics/manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create production schedules based on sales forecast and orders/projects.
• Coordinate with Production, buyer, and logistics teams.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports.
• Review daily loading and reschedule if necessary.
• Monitor production performance and expedite lots to ensure on-time shipments.
• Maintain accurate production records including daily output, material usage, and downtime reports.
• Assist with translations and administrative tasks for the production department.

Job description

Prepare monthly inventory reports and assist with administrative tasks for the production department.

Review daily loading and reschedule if necessary

Monitor and follow up closely on production performance and expedite lots to ensure shipments to customers are on time

Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, material usage, and downtime reports

Assist superior with internal staff communication translations and other administrative tasks for the production department, such as scheduling, meeting minutes, attendance summaries, and reporting

About you

Diploma or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related fields

At least 2 years of relevant experience in production planning or production management

Experience in electronics/manufacturing industry is a plus

Proficient in Mandarin to communicate effectively with China headquarters and suppliers

Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to work under pressure
