Litech in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to build and maintain daily, weekly, and master production schedules, coordinating closely with sales, procurement, warehousing, QA and engineering to meet delivery targets.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, SCM, or Mechanical Engineering, has 2–6+ years of planning experience, and demonstrates advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: RM3,000 - RM5,000 per month (depending on experience and industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Development: Build and maintain daily, weekly, and master production schedules based on customer demand, order forecasts, and delivery deadlines.
• Capacity & Resource Planning: Evaluate machine utilization, labor availability, and material constraints to optimize shop-floor output.
• Bottleneck Resolution: Proactively spot and resolve Work-in-Progress (WIP) bottlenecks, equipment downtime, or material shortages.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise closely with sales, procurement, warehousing, quality assurance, and engineering teams.
• Data & Reporting: Compile production KPIs, track machine efficiency, FOTD (Full-On-Time-Delivery) metrics, and generate regular management reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing control.
• Technical Skills: Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Malay; fluency in Mandarin is and advantages
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, leadership traits, and the ability to work under tight delivery schedules.
