Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a production quality-focused professional to ensure stamping yield aligns with planner targets and to establish standards for process stability and optimization. You will collaborate with QA, tooling, maintenance and production technicians to troubleshoot issues, monitor line performance and lead improvement initiatives across the stamping department.

This role requires leadership to coordinate new processes, materials, tool trials, and qualification runs, while driving

Responsibilities

• Stamping yield and output targeted by planner.
• Establish new standards for process stability and optimization (Control plan, visual aids, SOP, FMEA, WI).
• Analyze and reply the NCIR issued by QA.
• Re-sample defective reels for analysis and disposition.
• Work with QA on product quality related matters (customer feedback / complaints).
• Follow up and troubleshoot with tooling, maintenance, engineering and production technicians for abnormalities.
• Monitor and ensure stamping line runs smoothly and efficiently per production plans and quality standards.
• Operate and coordinate maintenance of in-line vision inspection machines in stamping line.
• Lead coordination of new processes, material, tool trials or qual runs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime, scrap, and improve quality and productivity.
• Identify, drive, and support cost-down projects across stamping department sections.
• Handle other tasks assigned by supervisor and management.
• Stop production when there is a quality issue; review and change process flow & procedures.

• Responsible for stamping yield and output targeted by planner.
• Responsible to follow up and establish new standards for process stability and optimization (Control plan, visual aids, SOP, FMEA, WI).

Analysis and reply the NCIR which issued by QA.b. Re-sampling the defective reel for analysis study and disposition. c. Develop inspection, rework or sorting standard.

• Work with QA on product quality related matter (customer feedback / complaint)
• Follow up and trouble shooting together with tooling, maintenance, engineering and production technician if found any abnormality.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the stamping line runs smoothly and efficiently in accordance with production plans and quality standards.
• Responsible for the operation, maintenance coordination, and performance of in-line vision inspection machines in stamping line.
• To be a leader in coordinating new processes, material, tool trial run or qual run.
• To be a leader for continuous improvement project (to reduce downtime, scrap reduction, quality and productivity improvement).
• Responsible for identifying, drive, and supporting cost-down projects across any section within the stamping department.
• Handle any other tasks and duties as and when assigned by superior and management team.
