Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer (Stamping) to support stamping yield, process stability, and line efficiency. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with teamwork across QA, tooling, and production to meet daily targets.

You will assist in developing standards, control plans, and continuous improvement initiatives, while coordinating new processes and cost-down projects in the stamping department.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or related engineering fields.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS required; able to communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for stamping yield and output targeted by planner.
• Follow up and establish new standards for process stability and optimization (Control plan, visual aids, SOP, FMEA, WI).
• Work with QA on product quality related matter (customer feedback / complaint).
• Monitor stamping line runs smoothly and efficiently in accordance with production plans and quality standards.
• Operate, maintain coordination, and performance of in-line vision inspection machines in stamping line.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Responsible for stamping yield and output targeted by planner.
- Responsible to follow up and establish new standards for process stability and optimization (Control plan, visual aids, SOP, FMEA, WI).
- Responsible for defective reel disposition: -
a. Analysis and reply the NCIR which issued by QA.
b. Re-sampling the defective reel for analysis study and disposition.
c. Develop inspection, rework or sorting standard.
- Work with QA on product quality related matter (customer feedback / complaint)
- Follow up and trouble shooting together with tooling, maintenance, engineering and production technician if found any abnormality.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the stamping line runs smoothly and efficiently in accordance with production plans and quality standards.
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance coordination, and performance of in-line vision inspection machines in stamping line.
- To be a leader in coordinating new processes, material, tool trial run or qual run.
- To be a leader for continuous improvement project (to reduce downtime, scrap reduction, quality and productivity improvement).
- Responsible for identifying, drive, and supporting cost-down projects across any section within the stamping department.
- Handle any other tasks and duties as and when assigned by superior and management team.

Authorities
- Stop production when there is a quality issue.
- Review and change process flow & procedures.

Qualifications

• Requirement
  

  - At least Diploma or Degree Holder in Mechanical/Mechatronics/E&E/Electrical Engineering.
  - At least 1-2 years experience preferably in manufacturing industry.
  - Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply.
  - Able to communication with all levels, work under minimal supervision, good in problem solving and analytical skill.
  - Knowledge Auto CAD, SOLIDWORKS and Computer Literate.
  - Non diploma or degree holder with vast stamping experience will be acceptable subjected to management approval.
