Cleanroom Industries Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing and supplier liaison in support of manufacturing operations in Malaysia.

The role requires 2–3 years in purchasing, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SQL-based procurement tools. You will maintain supplier records, monitor deliveries, verify invoices, and help drive cost savings while ensuring quality and timely supply.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or any other relevant field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with SQL-based systems or software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Aufgaben

• Process purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products, materials and supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm purchase orders, delivery schedules, pricing, product specifications and availability.
• Identify, evaluate, source, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, consistent product quality and timely delivery.
• Manage and resolve procurement, delivery, quality and supply-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Address supplier-related discrepancies, including delivery delays, incorrect or damaged items, quality issues and order discrepancies.
• Verify supplier invoices against approved purchase orders and goods received records and coordinate payment-related matters with the Accounts Department.
• Request, review, and analyze supplier quotations, prepare price comparison reports and submit recommendations to Management for approval.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, incoming shipments, outstanding backorders and replenishment requirements to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases and procurement documentation to support audit requirements and internal control procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and enhanced procurement efficiency.
• Review, update, and maintain departmental SOPs, forms and other controlled documents, ensuring proper submission to the QMR for registration and document control.
• Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Manager.
