Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a purchasing professional to manage end-to-end purchasing operations and cultivate strong vendor relationships to optimise supply chain performance in Malaysia. You will source high-quality mechanical and electronic materials, negotiate contracts and payment terms, monitor inventories, and oversee the complete purchase order process while tracking delivery timelines.

You will evaluate supplier performance to sustain long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Practical background in end-to-end purchasing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Applied experience in inventory control, material tracking, and cost optimization methodologies.
• Capability to build and maintain professional relationships with supply partners.
• Proficiency in digital procurement tools and enterprise supply chain systems.
• Tertiary qualification in supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing high-quality mechanical and electronic materials while coordinating with regional supply partners.
• Negotiating commercial contracts, payment terms, and pricing structures to achieve cost optimization.
• Monitoring inventory levels and stock balances to support continuous production requirements.
• Managing the complete purchase order process and tracking component delivery timelines.
• Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining long-term vendor partnerships.
