Job summary

Aoba Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our growing team in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. You will handle procurement, negotiate terms, and manage purchasing of materials and services for manufacturing and logistics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years in purchasing/procurement, preferably manufacturing or logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and cost optimization.
• Proficient in Mandarin is essential to communicate with Taiwan HQ teams.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to meet procurement needs.
• Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers for best terms and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities including import/export.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with customs and import/export requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
