Aoba Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our growing team in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. You will handle procurement, negotiate terms, and manage purchasing of materials and services for manufacturing and logistics.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in purchasing/procurement, preferably manufacturing or logistics.

• Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and cost optimization.
• Proficient in Mandarin is essential to communicate with Taiwan HQ teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to meet procurement needs.
• Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers for best terms and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities including import/export.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with customs and import/export requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.

About the role:
Aoba Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our expanding team in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating prices and terms, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required to support our manufacturing and logistics operations. This is a full-time opportunity for a proactive individual who is eager to contribute to fast-paced working environment and support the company’s ongoing growth and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs.

Placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing inventory levels to maintain efficient operations.

Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best terms and pricing.

Maintained accurate records and documentation related to all procurement activities include import and export activities.

Ensured proper documentation and compliance with customs and import/export requirements.

Coordinate with internal departments to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Experienced in handling customs and import/export procedures, with good knowledge of shipping documentation and customs requirements will be an advantage.

Requirement:

Possess Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies.

Proficient in Mandarin is essential as you need to communicate with Taiwan HQteams.
