Job summary

TBMC DEVELOPMENT SDN. BHD. invites applications for a purchasing and procurement support role focused on sourcing, order management, supplier coordination, and documentation.

You will assist in obtaining quotations, processing PRs/POs, and tracking deliveries while keeping purchasing records up to date. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in purchasing or related roles, with strong communication, negotiation, and Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, administration or related position.
• Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other basic office applications.
• Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Able to manage multiple orders and follow up within required timelines.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory or construction/material procurement will be an added advantage.
• Ability to speak and communicate in Mandarin/Chinese is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO) and related purchasing documents
• Compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability and delivery terms
• Follow up with suppliers on pricing, product availability and delivery schedules
• Track purchase orders from ordering until delivery
• Maintain good communication and working relationships with suppliers
• Follow up on outstanding orders, delayed deliveries, backorders and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, quotations, POs, delivery orders and invoices
• Liaise with store or relevant departments regarding stock requirements
• Assist in monitoring purchasing costs and sourcing suitable alternatives where applicable
