Job summary

Asia Recruit is seeking an experienced procurement leader to elevate global procurement operations from a Malaysia-based hub. You will coordinate with international teams, manage major APAC PO flows, and ensure master data accuracy while driving efficiency and digital transformation across procurement tools and processes.

Leading a capable team, you will oversee staffing, performance, and promotions to sustain long-term success, and you will be measured against KPIs and data-driven improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, supply chain, or finance required.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in SCM, procurement, customer service or finance (Shared Service Center environment preferred).
• Strong people management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global functions and departments to elevate procurement operations for profitable growth.
• Support PO handling for major Asia/Pacific sites and multiple smaller sites; ensure procurement tools are up and running.
• Maintain supplier master data and other master data with high data accuracy and streamlined processes.
• Lead people management: hiring, performance assessment, and promotion to ensure long-term success.
• Organize, control, regulate and quantify all procurement activities in your area; meet KPIs and drive process improvements.
• Support and drive analytics and digital transformation projects within procurement.
• Identify opportunities to optimize productivity with efficient forms of organization, procedures and processes.
• Balance workload proactively and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Ensure correct global maintenance processes & execution on supplier master data & other master data items. Data accuracy & processes being flowless
• Company employees & suppliers relies on our support for smooth procurement operations activities
• In charge of people management activities: ensuring selection, management, assessment & promotion of employees to ensure long-term sustainable success with competent & motivated staff
• Responsible for the organization, control, regulation &quantification of all operational procurement activities handled in your area Ensure operational & tactical KPI´s are meet, & processes improved
• Support & drive analytics & digital transformation projects
• Adapt & implement of efficient forms of organization, procedures & processes to capture rationalization potentials, to optimize productivity & to meet safety requirements, considering operational impact. Looking for optimization & efficiency opportunities is part of our DNA
