Job summary

This role focuses on driving procurement excellence through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization. The incumbent will lead initiatives that align procurement strategies with organizational objectives, deliver cost efficiencies, and ensure compliance while fostering innovation and sustainability in the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance across categories
• Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers, negotiate strategic agreements, and implement performance improvement programs
• Monitor market trends, assess risks, and provide insights to support proactive decision-making and business continuity
• Ensure procurement activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business goals and support major projects
• Drive initiatives that deliver measurable savings, enhance supplier value, and support sustainability objectives
• Champion process enhancements, digital tools adoption, and best practices to improve procurement efficiency and transparency
• Prepare strategic procurement reports, track KPIs, and present insights to senior management for informed decision-making

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in procurement with exposure to strategic sourcing and supplier management
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Skilled in negotiation, analytical thinking, and resourcefulness in problem-solving
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail
• Proactive in resolving issues and managing conflicts constructively
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) preferred
