Job summary

Gard Inc Sdn Bhd. is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Executive to support daily purchasing, sourcing, supplier liaison, and logistics coordination in Sungai Long, Selangor.

This full-time position focuses on ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures, quotations, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to follow up on orders closely.
• Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
• Proactive, responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement Support: assist with daily purchasing activities, sourcing products, obtaining quotations, comparing prices, and preparing purchase orders.
• Source and identify potential local and overseas suppliers when required.
• Follow up with suppliers on pricing, product availability, lead time, and order confirmation.
• Support the Purchasing team to ensure materials are purchased at competitive prices and delivered on time.
• Request and collect quotations from suppliers for price comparison.
