Job summary

Smells Good Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Executive in Kuala Lumpur to own inventory planning, merchandise sourcing, and purchasing activities. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to maintain stock levels, source quality merchandise for campaigns, and ensure purchases are cost-effective and delivered on time.

You will forecast based on sales data, set SKU min/max, and coordinate rapid, cost-efficient replenishments while protecting key channels.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field.
• Mandarin reading, typing and speaking required to deal with China supplier.
• 1–3 years in procurement, logistics or inventory management (FMCG/retail preferred).

Responsibilities

• Forecast inventory from sales data and campaign plans and defend it.
• Set min/max levels per SKU and monitor stock-out risks weeks ahead.
• Coordinate fast, cost-effective recovery: air/sea freight, split shipments, or reallocations.
• Protect key channels and campaigns by rationing limited stock.
• Produce a weekly stock health report with risks and actions.
• Turn campaign ideas into gift sets customers want to keep.
