Job summary

Meishang Cosmetics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Merchandiser to manage product planning, inventory coordination, and supplier communication. You will ensure products are available at the right time and quantity while supporting sales growth through effective merchandising strategies.

You will also analyze stock levels, collaborate with warehouse teams, and generate reports to guide purchasing decisions, with a five-day work week and on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of merchandising, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor product assortment, stock levels, and replenishment.
• Coordinate with suppliers on product orders, deliveries, pricing, and lead times.
• Track inventory movement and ensure optimal stock availability.
• Analyze sales performance and recommend replenishment or promotional strategies.
• Work closely with the warehouse and operations team to ensure timely stock distribution.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order status.
• Ensure product information, pricing, and inventory records are accurate.
• Monitor slow-moving and fast-moving items and recommend actions.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends.
• Generate inventory, sales, and purchasing reports for management.
