Job summary

Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad invites bright and energetic candidates to join the Supply Chain Department as a Procurement Executive. The role focuses on supporting daily purchasing activities, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring deliveries and ensuring timely procurement of materials at competitive prices without compromising quality.

The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, with preference for at least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 1 year of relevant purchasing/procurement experience preferred.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks on delivery orders and ensure purchasing documents are accurate and complete.
• Monitor purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite urgent orders and meet operational requirements.
• Handle transmission of purchasing documents and verify orders and invoices.
• Maintain purchasing data including unit prices, supplier information and MOQ.
