Job summary

Agricultural Chemicals (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement and logistics, optimizing stock and delivery schedules. You will lead the procurement team, ensure SOP compliance, and negotiate with suppliers to deliver quality goods on time.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and 5–7 years of procurement experience, with strong Excel/ERP skills and excellent English communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of procurement, logistics or supply chain experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office with good data accuracy.
• Experience using ERP systems for procurement planning and reporting.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

• Oversees procurement and logistics to optimize stock and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions.

Job description

Oversees procurement - logistics activities to optimize stock and delivery schedules.

Manage and coordinate procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality goods and services.

Supervise and guide Procurement staff to ensure compliance with procurement SOP and regulatory requirements.

Select, monitor and evaluate performance of the approved vendors / suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage vendors / suppliers' relationship.

Provide support on purchase dealings for better inter-department communication work arrangement and material requirements.

Resolve problems arising or complaints regarding material requirements.

Job Requirements

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or equivalent.

Minimum with 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience, in the field of procurement, logistics and/or supply chain.

Computer literate with advance proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, good typing skills and accuracy at work.

Experience in utilizing ERP system for procurement planning, order processing, data analysis and reporting.

Good interpersonal skills, pleasant personality and able to communicate and cooperate with others.

Good command in English, both verbal and written.

Able to work independently, manage priorities and perform under pressure.
