Production Planning Executive (Contract)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planning Executive to join our team. In this role, you will support production planning, inventory management and data analysis while working closely with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

This opportunity is open to both fresh graduates and experienced candidates who are eager to develop their skills in production planning and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and participate in the preparation of monthly, annual, short-term and long-term production plans and inventory requirements.

Update and manage monthly production plans and maintain accurate inventory records.

Prepare, update and maintain relevant production planning documents and reports.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, maintain quality standards, optimize inventory levels and align product availability with sales demand.

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, Logistics and other relevant departments to coordinate planning activities.

Ensure compliance with and promote company policies relating to safety, health, environment and quality.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and undertake other assignments as required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Engineering or a related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience will have an added advantage.

Preferably with experience or knowledge in Manufacturing, Production, Production Planning, Supply Chain or Inventory Management.

Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Good working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI for data processing, analysis, dashboard development and reporting.

Ability to utilize digital and AI tools to support data analysis, reporting, process improvement and daily work activities.

Good analytical, numerical, planning and coordination skills.

Able to collaborate effectively with different departments, manage multiple tasks and follow up on assigned activities.

Detail-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated and willing to learn.
