Job summary

Armstrong Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Procurement Executive for manufacturing. You will source materials, negotiate terms, track orders, and coordinate with planning and customer service to ensure timely replenishment in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes supplier performance monitoring, documentation control, and cost reduction initiatives, with AWS and performance bonuses outlined as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of procurement or related experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier coordination; clear communication and negotiation skills.
• Good Excel skills and ability to maintain purchasing records; familiarity with Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source materials and services, compare quotations, and negotiate price, quality, delivery and terms.
• Track purchase orders and shipments with Planning and Customer Service for timely replenishment.
• Resolve supplier delays, changes, returns and documentation issues; verify deliveries against orders.
• Monitor supplier performance, coordinate evaluations or audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain supplier registrations, contracts, renewals and payments, including REACH, RoHS, COA and SDS records.
• Keep accurate purchasing data and contribute to cost reduction and process improvements.

Procurement Executive, Manufacturing Industry

Keep materials and services available for production while balancing cost, quality and delivery. You will work closely with suppliers, Planning and Customer Service in a hands on manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Source materials and services, compare quotations, and negotiate price, quality, delivery and commercial terms.

Track purchase orders and shipments; work with Planning and Customer Service on material needs, stock and timely replenishment.

Resolve supplier delays, delivery changes, returns and documentation issues; check deliveries against orders and supporting records.

Monitor supplier performance, coordinate evaluations or audits, and follow up on corrective actions.

Maintain supplier registration, contract renewal and payment documentation, including applicable REACH, RoHS, COA and SDS records.

Keep accurate purchasing data and contribute to cost reduction, alternative sourcing and process improvements.

About you

At least three (3) years of procurement or related experience, ideally in manufacturing.

Sound knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier coordination; confident communication and negotiation skills.

Good Excel skills and the ability to maintain accurate purchasing records. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot is an advantage.

A degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field is preferred.
