Job summary

Armstrong Technology Sdn. Bhd. (ATSB) is seeking an engineer to help translate drawings into manufacturable processes on the production floor, coordinating with Sales, Quality and Production to deliver cost-competitive solutions.

You will review drawings, plan trials, improve cycle time and yield, and investigate defects with Quality. Fresh graduates welcome; 3–5 years preferred; AI tools knowledge an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Analytical approach to data analysis and coordinating multiple priorities.
• Around 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Manufacturing and ISO 13485 medical device experience advantageous; AI tools experience is also an advantage.

• Assess manufacturability and develop processes for new parts and customer projects.

• Work with Quality to investigate defects, identify root causes and verify corrective actions.

Job description

Work on new product processes from drawing review and costing through trials and improvement. This role suits an engineer who enjoys practical problem solving on the production floor and working with Sales, Quality and Production.

Key responsibilities

About you

Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

Ability to read technical drawings and use AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

A practical approach to data analysis, improvement proposals and coordinating several priorities.

Around 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred. Fresh graduates and early career engineers with relevant project or internship experience are welcome to apply.

Manufacturing and ISO 13485 medical device experience are advantages. Experience using AI tools or agents in engineering work is also an advantage.
