Job summary

Moonlight Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Procurement Executive at the Dewani Factory in Johor Bahru to manage end-to-end purchasing supporting manufacturing operations.

You will handle local purchases, liaise with China suppliers, coordinate imports, and source materials via Taobao/1688. Mandarin proficiency is required.

This role requires strong negotiation, coordination, and administrative skills, with attention to detail and reliability; prior experience with AutoCount is a plus.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Taobao, 1688 and other China e-commerce platforms.
• Able to communicate and coordinate with China suppliers.
• Knowledge of China import procedures and shipping arrangements will be an advantage.
• Experience with AutoCount will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and responsible.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing of the Company's local supplies, equipment, packaging materials and other operational items.
• Assist in the purchasing of selected raw materials.
• Liaise and communicate with China suppliers and vendors for products, machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate the import process for machinery and equipment from China, including basic shipping and documentation arrangements.
• Source and purchase products through Taobao, 1688 and other China e-commerce platforms.
• Compare suppliers, prices and product specifications to support purchasing decisions.
• Prepare and handle basic purchasing and administrative paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
