SHANGTAI TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. invites a procurement professional to oversee tender, RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection.

You will prepare and monitor Purchase Orders, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings while aligning with production needs. You will coordinate with production and warehouse teams, maintain supplier records, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies. The role requires strong analytical skills, 2 years in purchasing, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
• Minimum 2 years purchasing/procurement experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Chinese communication skills are an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory systems

Responsabilidades

This role is responsible for overseeing procurement and sourcing activities, managing tender processes and purchase orders, controlling costs, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.

Job Responsibilities

Manage tender, RFQ, RFP and quotation processes in compliance with company policies.

Source, evaluate and select suppliers for production materials and components.

Prepare, issue and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) based on production requirements.

Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.

Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material delivery.

Monitor outstanding orders and evaluate supplier performance.

Maintain procurement records, supplier information and purchasing reports.

Conduct cost analysis and coordinate with the finance team on invoices and payments.

Handle import/export documentation and customs clearance when required.

Review and improve procurement procedures and SOPs.

Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills)

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field

Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing or procurement experience

Experience in manufacturing industries will be an added advantage

Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; Chinese communication skills are an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory systems
