Job summary

All Good Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a procurement professional to assist the purchasing manager in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and contract negotiations.

You will maintain supplier relationships, optimize inventory, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with internal teams to support sourcing for projects; Mandarin communication will be required to coordinate with management.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing setting.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing workflow and market research; Familiar with Customs Acts and requirements.
• Experience in managing import and export shipping is a plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin for communication with Mandarin-speaking management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the procurement manager in the purchasing process.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and conduct supplier qualification assessments.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships and manage supplier performance.
• Optimize inventory levels with effective inventory management practices.
• Maintain records of purchasing activities and collaborate with internal departments.
• Coordinate with Business Development to arrange deliveries and sourcing for projects.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Liaise with local authorities such as Royal Malaysia Customs to ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
