Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in procurement, preferably in building/construction.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement and order fulfilment operations. This role covers strategic sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, supply and demand forecasting, and customer order execution, with a strong focus on cost optimization and meeting delivery commitments. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes, support regional and export order fulfilment, and drive continuous operational improvements. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and coordination skills who is equally comfortable managing procurement activities, reviewing contractual agreements, and monitoring operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

• Manage strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, contracting, and evaluation of services across the organization.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement efficiency and control purchasing costs.
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with agreed terms, contractual obligations, and internal requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to support timely purchasing, smooth operations, and reliable order fulfilment

Order Fulfilment & Inventory Management

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end order fulfilment operations, including supply and demand forecasting, inventory control, and customer order execution.
• Oversee regional and export order fulfilment to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered according to agreed schedules.
• Establish quarterly forecasts and monitor monthly transactions to support sales targets and business objectives.
• Work closely with internal departments, including Sales, Production, and Project teams, to align procurement activities with customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Conduct regular review meetings with internal teams to discuss project progress, production updates, procurement status, and potential operational challenges

Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement

• Analyze operational performance, identify shortfalls, and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and achieve business targets.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement new systems, best practices, and streamlined workflows to support operational efficiency and business growth.
• Ensure internal processes, procurement documentation, and related transactions are completed accurately within the required timelines.
• Prepare and review procurement reports, operational records, and other relevant documentation accurately and on schedule

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the building or construction industry, with knowledge of contractual terms and agreements.
• Proficient in SAP and related procurement systems or tools.
• Strong planning, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Dynamic team player with good leadership, coordination, and people management abilities.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with multilingual clients, vendors, and suppliers.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across departments, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
