Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to manage end-to-end procurement for engineering, CAPEX and MRO requirements, from PR/RFQ through quotation evaluation, negotiation, PO award and delivery completion. You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Project teams to understand technical requirements and procurement specifications.

Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 3 years' procurement experience in oleochemicals, chemicals or FMCG

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement in Oleochemicals, Chemical or FMCG Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Experience in handling MRO, engineering spare parts, maintenance services, or CAPEX purchases.
• Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is advantage.
• Ability to understand/interpret engineering drawings, specifications, equipment's, datasheets would be a PLUS.
• Experience in tendering processes, bid evaluations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for CAPEX and engineering projects, including equipment, machinery, systems, installation and engineering services
• Manage project tendering processes, including preparation of RFQs/tender documents, supplier pre-qualification, technical and commercial bid evaluation, clarification, negotiation and recommendation for award
• Source, evaluate and develop suitable local and international suppliers, contractors and engineering service providers
• Conduct commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty, liquidated damages and other contractual terms
• Manage procurement for Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) items, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and other engineering spare parts
• Buildup and maintain supplier relationships to ensure alignment with project and production schedules

Education
