CCIE ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Procurement Executive to assist in the procurement of materials, equipment and services for construction projects, with emphasis on warehouse and data centre initiatives in Malaysia.
The role involves liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. The candidate will prepare purchase orders, review quotations, track supplier performance, and help source new suppliers while ensuring compliance
Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects, mainly warehouse and data centre projects. Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and review purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and procurement documents.
Monitor and manage supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records.
Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating their reliability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements in all procurement activities.
Support the project team in managing material schedules and supply chain logistics.
Report to Procurement Manager or Project Manager on procurement status and updates.
About you
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related fields.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement, especially in construction projects.
Familiar with construction materials, suppliers, and procurement procedures in construction.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Must own a laptop.
Able to travel to project sites or supplier locations when necessary.
