Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask, coordinate with departments and meet deadlines.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or chocolate industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing and ordering raw materials and packaging.
• Prepare requisitions, purchase orders and supplier records; liaise on pricing and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate export orders and shipments to overseas customers; manage export documentation.
• Prepare and manage export shipping documents (BLs, declarations, forms) where applicable.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents and customs to ensure smooth delivery.
• Follow up on shipment schedules and update customers on status; ensure proper filing.

About the role

This role involves handling daily procurement activities and coordinating export sales and shipping operations for a chocolate manufacturing company. You will manage purchasing processes, supplier relationships, and international export documentation to support business growth across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing and ordering raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies
• Prepare and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier records
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules and order fulfilment
• Coordinate export orders and shipments to overseas customers
• Prepare and manage export shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BL), shipping labels, customs declarations, K2 forms and Certificates of Origin (Form E/D), where applicable
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents and customs representatives to ensure smooth delivery
• Follow up on shipment schedules and update customers on order and delivery status
• Ensure export documentation is properly prepared, maintained and filed

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business or a related field
• Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in procurement, export documentation, logistics or sales administration
• Familiarity with customs procedures, shipping documentation and international trade processes will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and general computer applications
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to multitask, work independently and coordinate with different departments
• Detail-oriented, responsible, organized and able to meet deadlines
• Experience in the FMCG, food manufacturing or chocolate industry will be an added advantage
