Job summary

Intiga Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support procurement operations and supplier coordination. You will assist in issuing POs, source suppliers, monitor pricing and delivery, and maintain supplier records.

The role involves coordination with store, site, and finance teams to ensure smooth material flow. We welcome new graduates or those with some purchasing experience who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
• New graduates or candidates with some purchasing experience are welcome.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier coordination is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in issuing purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Source and compare suppliers for materials and services.
• Follow up on pricing, delivery, and order status with suppliers.
• Maintain and update purchase records and supplier database.
• Assist in inventory tracking and stock control.
• Coordinate with store, site, and finance teams.
• Check invoices against delivery orders and POs.
• Support cost control and procurement reporting.
