Job summary

SCHOTT Glass (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking dynamic individuals to support process engineering activities, undertake laboratory work, and assist with data collection and experiments in a compliant environment.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Chemistry, strong analytical skills, hands-on lab comfort, and basic Office proficiency; JMP or Minitab knowledge is a plus, with open rotational assignments and structured training.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering.
Basic knowledge of chemical handling and safety practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with hands-on laboratory work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with JMP or Minitab is an advantage.
Open to rotational assignments and structured training.

Responsibilities

Supporting process engineering activities, including sampling, monitoring, and data collection.
Performing laboratory chemical mixing and handling according to established procedures.
Supporting Design of Experiments activities for process improvement.
Assisting engineers in troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues.
Compiling and tracking process data and engineering projects.
Working in cleanroom environments and following cleanroom protocols where required.
