SCHOTT Glass (M) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Management Trainee, Quality Engineer on a 1-year fixed term contract. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining quality systems, ensuring products meet stringent specifications, and driving continuous improvement across ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and related quality objectives.

The candidate should hold a degree in science or engineering, with fresh graduates welcomed and less than one year of relevant manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• A degree in Science or Engineering (Technology, Engineering, Physics or related fields).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged for the position.
• < 1 year working experience in manufacturing plant or relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Plan and systematically implement activities within the quality system to provide confidence that products meet requirements.
• Assure implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.
• Review customer requirements, specifications and supplier agreements to ensure quality.
• Develop quality control and inspection plans for new articles and release products that conform to specs.
• Plan and perform failure analysis on returned parts and drive root cause using 8D.
