Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience (Milling/Turning).
• Proficient in G-code/M-code programming and CNC setup.
• Strong CAD/CAM software skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
• Experience with EDM or precision grinding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC machining processes, cycle times, and cutting parameters.
• Conduct CNC programming (Milling/Turning) and troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Analyze data, tool wear, and machine performance to reduce costs.
• Create and update SOPs, process docs, and CNC setup sheets.
• Support QA to ensure tolerances, GD&T, and surface finish targets.

We are seeking a proactive CNC / Process Engineer (Mandarin Speaking) to join our team in Ulu Tiram, Johor. You will focus on optimizing CNC machining processes (Milling/Turning), improving production efficiency, and maintaining high precision standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize precision CNC machining processes, cycle times, and cutting parameters to enhance productivity.

Conduct CNC programming (Milling/Turning) and troubleshoot on-site machining and tooling issues.

Analyze production data, tool wear, and machine performance to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce manufacturing costs.

Create and update process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and CNC setup sheets.

Support quality control by ensuring products meet tight tolerances, GD&T specifications, and surface roughness ($Ra$) requirements.

Assist in New Product Introduction (NPI), fixture design, and process validation.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining (Milling / Turning) operations and G-code/M-code programming.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.).

Experience with Multi-wire Cutting (EDM) or Precision Grinding is a strong advantage.
