Job summary

Fushan Medical Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. – Kulai, Johor is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Engineer to design, debug, and optimize molding processes for new projects, set process parameters, and maintain process documentation.

You will lead mold trials, assist mass production introduction, analyze production abnormalities, and drive continuous improvement in product quality, yield, and efficiency while guiding the technical team and ensuring 5S at the site.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in injection molding and mold maintenance.
• Able to read 2D/3D engineering drawings.
• Experience analyzing appearance and dimensional defects and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience in mold trials, mass production introduction, mold repair/improvement and process optimization.
• Production management and team guidance skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, debugging, and optimization of injection molding processes for new projects.

Responsible for the design, debugging, and optimization of injection molding processes for new projects, establishing injection molding process parameters and related process documents.

Lead mold trials, debugging, mass production introduction, and production abnormality analysis. Propose improvement solutions for mold, equipment, and process-related issues.

Responsible for technical support at the injection molding production site, promptly handling production abnormalities to ensure product quality, yield, and production efficiency.

Responsible for the quality and process control of injection molded products, analyzing production data and promoting continuous improvement.

Responsible for mold installation and adjustment during the production process to ensure production quality targets and delivery requirements are achieved.

Responsible for 5S management at the production site.

Responsible for the management of production work orders, production reports, and related process documents.

Regularly review production targets, production performance, and improvement projects, and follow up on the effectiveness of improvements.

Manage and provide guidance to the injection molding process technical team, providing technical support in injection molding parameters, molds, and process improvements.

Perform other related duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in injection molding and mold maintenance, with the ability to operate injection molding machines, set parameters, and troubleshoot issues.

Familiar with the basic principles and operation of injection molding machines, molds, auxiliary equipment, and plastic materials, with the ability to perform equipment validation and mold validation.

Possess the ability to analyze and improve appearance and dimensional abnormalities in injection molded products, and conduct root cause analysis.

Experience in new mold trials, mass production introduction, mold repair/improvement, and process optimization.

Able to read 2D/3D engineering drawings. Experience in mold/jig maintenance or equipment-related work is an advantage.

Possess production management, team guidance, and problem-solving skills.
