Job summary

Santomas is seeking a production operator in Malaysia to support injection moulding processes. You will follow strict manufacturing rules, protect confidential information and maintain equipment safety while ensuring timely mass production.

The role requires 1–2 years of moulding experience, and a qualification such as SPM or Diploma in Plastic Process. Candidates should be able to work in shifts and contribute to continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

SPM or Diploma in Plastic Process (Injection Moulding) or related engineering fields is a plus.
1–2 years of relevant experience in moulding, preferably in injection moulding or related field.

Responsibilities

Follow company rules, regulations, and discipline at all times.
Observe and protect classified information and its restrictions.
Ensure proper use and protection of company property; prevent misuse.
Plan and implement instructions; ensure mass production readiness.
Follow superior instructions and complete assignments faithfully.
Maintain safety and environmental standards; ensure accident-free workplace.

Key Responsibilities

To follow company work rules and regulations, job offence and discipline at all time.
To observe what are the company classified information and its restriction to reveal to other peoples.
To understand the usage and protection of company property and its offence of misuse of Co property.
To plan and implement superior job instruction and to ensure that the resigned job in completed in time.
To follow superior work's instruction and job assignment faithfully and dutifully.

To be Role Model for all Subordinate.
To follow and implement TS16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and good 5S practice at workplace at all time.
To ensure up mould preparation (mould, material & machine) is arranged properly & moulding condition is checked & proper set before mass production.
To ensure down mould procedure is followed (last shot moulding condition, production Qty check before down mould and in-process moulding condition is stable.
To ensure machine & other production equipment is operated safely (safety procedure is observed).
To troubleshoot product defect during mass production and record the trouble shooting report.
To ensure all employees are safety conscious and keep accident free in workplace by explain and demonstrate safety work procedure.
To improve production productivity by reducing the cycle time, cavity down time, mould change time and machine down time & increase the product quality.
To work with other department cooperatively and maintain friendly work relation in teamwork spirit with others for the purpose of common objective of Company's business.
To ensure there is no waste and always think towards cost reduction.
To make immediate decision & action to highlight to superior if any production mold unable to run the process because of mold, man, machine, method and material (5M) problem.
To arrange runner bin move to designated place.
To arrange material resin into machine after transferred from Store pic.
To collect purging block, NG parts and weighing it.
To give full commitment to company at all the time.
Capable to mix plastic resin as request (follow the % crush materials)
To collect parts daily for every machine. (offline)
To identify the part card for every offline molds.
To Arrange enough carton, bin and polybag for all offline parts.
Capable to clean the hopper dryer.
Capable to identify the plastic resin type (etc PC, POM, PBT)
