Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Injection Mould Technician to join the production team in Penang. The role focuses on mould installation, set-up, parameter tweaks and trials to ensure optimal cycle times and product quality.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of injection moulding experience, strong analytical abilities, and the readiness to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Basic knowledge of MTC and Valve Gate systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or higher.
• 3–5 years in injection moulding environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mould installation, set-up, parameter adjustments and trials.
• Monitor machine performance for smooth production.
• Record production output and process parameters accurately.
• Aim to improve product quality, cycle time and efficiency.
• Operate and maintain supporting equipment and work with cross-functional teams.

• Perform mould installation, mould set-up, parameter adjustments, and mould trials.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills in trouble shooting moulding issues
• Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth production operations.
• Record production output, maintenance activities, and process parameters accurately.
• Responsible to improve product quality, cycle time, productivity, and overall efficiency.
• Operate and maintain supporting equipment.
• Work closely with the production, tooling, engineering, and quality departments.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or above.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in an injection moulding environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in troubleshooting moulding processes and machine-related issues.
• Experience in operating robotic arms will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of the following equipment:
• Mould Temperature Controller (MTC)
• Valve Gate System
• Possess own transportation.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
