Job summary

CPI (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled engineer to develop and maintain process documentation for material handlers and to monitor equipment in plastic injection molding. The role requires independent work on new processes and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts, track performance metrics, and support safety and quality initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or any equivalent education.
• Have working experience more than 3 years in manufacturing injection moulding (plastic).
• Familiar with moulding defects, plastic injection moulding process control and lean six sigma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for material handler.
• Monitor and report issues with material and material handling equipment.
• Monitor and report issues with and moulding equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to material handler and technician.
• Work independently on new process development and on troubleshooting current production issues.
• Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.
• Investigate and resolve process issues, including defects, inconsistencies, and equipment malfunctions; develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, material specifications, equipment maintenance, and quality control data; generate reports and presentations to management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, cost reduction, and process optimization.

Job Requirement:
