Job summary

Benchmark Electronics in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and optimize box build assembly processes, driving quality, productivity and efficiency across production lines.

You will support New Product Introduction, pilot builds, and product transfers into production, while troubleshooting manufacturing issues and leading continuous improvement initiatives with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Experience in manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize box build assembly processes to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot builds, and product transfers into production.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive root cause corrective actions.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs such as yield, cycle time, and scrap reduction.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve operational challenges.
