Job summary

LEM MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced engineer to define and drive manufacturing process strategy in Penang. You will coordinate process solution development, manage implementation, and supervise ramp-ups until targets are achieved.

The role requires 5+ years in process implementation for assembly/manufacturing, CAD proficiency (2D/3D) and knowledge of Automotive Core Tools. Strong project management, lean manufacturing, and independent working style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years in process implementation for assembly/manufacturing.
• 2D-3D Mechanical CAD experience is required.
• Knowledge of Automotive Quality Core Tools (APQP, Control Plan, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Strong technical project management capabilities.
• Lean manufacturing experience is essential.
• Problem solving skills with Shainin/6 Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of plastic and hybrid assembly technologies.
• Ability to work independently and be customer/result oriented.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities; good communication in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• To define the manufacturing process strategy
• To coordinate the process solution development / manufacturing and the implementation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic) or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of experience in process implementation projects for the assembly industry (electronic product, automotive ideally).
• 2D-3D Mechanical CAD experience.
