IBIDEN Electronics Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

in Penang seeks a process engineering professional to take full ownership of assigned processes and modules, drive continuous improvements to quality, yield, productivity, delivery and cost, and participate in commissioning of new machinery. You will ensure compliance with control regulations and standards, liaise with vendors, develop and maintain process documentation, support NPI through prototype to high volume manufacturing, and lead senior technicians.

Assume full ownership and management of assigned processes and modules.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality, yield, productivity, delivery, and cost.

Actively participate in the commissioning of new machinery, monitor modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes to ensure optimal performance.

Ensure all process aspects rigorously comply with established control regulations and industry standards.

Liaise effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure all related items (e.g., machinery, materials) consistently meet updated specifications.

Develop, implement, and maintain critical documentation, including process control standards, process standards, Temporary work instruction (TWI), and engineering Operational Manual & Operation Instructions (OMOI).

Ensure all engineering-related documents are accurate, current, and readily accessible.

Control and manage customer documentation and technical information.

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Development:

Support and facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from the prototype phase through to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

Lead the implementation of new structural developments for both existing and new products.

Prepare and submit Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reports for NPI products transitioning to HVM.

Organize and conduct Quality Assurance (QA) meetings and Design Reviews (DR) for new products at each prototyping stage.

Lead, guide, coach, and develop Senior Technicians, fostering their professional growth and technical capabilities.

Provide essential process-related guidance, facilitate Request for Change (RFC) processes, contribute to Defect Review Boards (DRB), and transfer critical knowledge to production staff.

Compliance & Workplace Standards:

Adhere to and actively support all departmental and corporate policies and procedures, particularly those pertaining to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Oversee and perform 5S and safety activities to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
