Job summary

ClassA Industrial (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Process Engineer (Plastic Injection Moulding) to support production planning, equipment readiness and process documentation in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization across shifts.

You will lead process improvements, qualify processes, jigs and fixtures, train operators, troubleshoot tooling issues, and collaborate with quality, maintenance and engineering teams to close

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma / Technical Certificate required.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in related field.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with plastic injection molding and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist production manager in planning for production machines and resources.
• Carry out and coordinate engineering activities; generate process flow, process specification and work instructions.
• Conduct process, jig, fixture and machine qualification prior to mass production.
• Work with supporting engineering groups related to parts and product evaluations.
• Lead and conduct process improvement.
• Establish and implement process control systems to ensure process and product quality control.
• Provide training to related staff and operators per training requirements.
• Resolve line technical issues and customer complaints.
• Work with quality department to close MCAR in a timely manner.
• Study jig improvement and safety for production use.
• Comply with and ensure conformance to documented quality management systems and environmental procedures.
• Report problems or deviations associated with environmental issues to EMS committee.
• Ad hoc assignment as and when necessary.

PROCESS ENGINEER (PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING)

ASSIST PRODUCTION MANAGER IN PLANNING FOR PRODUCTION MACHNIESAND RESOURCES.

CARRY OUT AND COORDINATE ENGINEERING ACTIVITIESGENERATE PROCESS FLOW, PROCESS SPECIFICATION AND WORKINSTRUCTIONS PER REQUIREMENT.

CONDUCT PROCESS, JOG, FIXTURE AND MACHINE QUALIFICATION PRIOR TOMASS PRODUCTION.

WORK WITH SUPPORTING ENGINEERING GROUPS RELATED TO PARTS ANDPRODUCT EVALUATIONS.

LEAD AND CONDUCT PROCESS IMPROVEMENT.

ESTABLISH AND IMPLEMENT PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS TO ENSUREPROCESS AND PRODUCT QUALITY CONTROL.

PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PROCESS TRAININGS TO RELATED STAFFS ANDOPERATORS PER TRAINING REQUIREMENTS.

RESOLVE LINE TECHNICAL ISSUES AND CUSTOMER COMPLANTS .

WORK WITH QUALITY DEPARTMENT TO CLOSE MCAR I A TIMELY MANNER.

STUDY JIG IMPROVEMENT AND SAFETY FOR PRODUCTION USED.

COMPLY AND ENSURE CONFORMANCE TO DOCUMENTED QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROCEDURES.

REPORT PROBLEMS OR DEVIATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES TO EMS COMMITTEE.

AD HOC ASSIGNMENT AS AND WHEN NECESSARY.

AUTHORITIES

TO STUDY AND IMPLEMENT PROCESS METHODOLOGY.

TO VERIFY JIGS, FIXTURES, MACHINES USED AT PRODUCTION AREA.

TO TRAIN AND CROSS TRAINING TO RELATED OPERATORS.

TO STOP PRODUCTION TO CORRECT QUALITY PROBLEMS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

DEGREE / DIPLOMA / TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE .

2 - 5 YEARS WORKING IN RELATED FIELD.

SKILLS

ABLE TO WORK INDEPENTLY UNDER MINIMUM SUPERVISION.

PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING AND TROUBLE SHOOTING.
