Job summary

PRINT PLANET in Sabah, Malaysia is seeking a friendly, responsible, fast-learning team member to join our Retail Printing Team. You will handle walk-in and digital inquiries, advise on printing, signage and event products, and assist with artwork adjustments.

The role emphasizes customer service, eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting. Training is provided; familiarity with Illustrator/Photoshop/Canva is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Familiarity with POS/order systems is a plus.
• Able to spot mistakes before printing.
• Comfortable learning new software.
• Printing or signage experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in, WhatsApp and online customer enquiries.
• Advise customers on printing, signage and event products.
• Handle simple artwork/design adjustments.
• Check customer artwork before sending for production — size, spelling, resolution, layout and basic print requirements.
• Prepare quotations/orders and confirm customer requirements.
• Explain product options, materials, sizes, finishing and production timelines.
• Prepare clear job instructions / job sheets for the production team.
• Coordinate with Designer, Production, Fabrication and Event teams.
• Follow up on artwork approval, payment, production and collection/delivery.
• Maintain proper customer and job records.
