Job summary

Lyreco Office Supplies (M) Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to drive pricing strategy and strategic sourcing across categories. You will develop pricing structures and monitor price realization, while managing cost and margin insights in SAP.

The role requires an degree in Business Admin or Supply Chain, 2+ years’ experience, advanced Excel, and strong English plus local language communication. Collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain with exposure to Data Analytics or Finance.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong negotiation and commercial thinking with sourcing experience.
• Effective communicator with fluency in English and the native language.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing structures aligned with category strategy.
• Monitor pricing performance, price realization and leakage.
• Support price adjustments due to cost changes and market competitiveness.
• Analyze cost structures and margins at SKU and category level; run what-if simulations.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and cost benchmarking in strategic sourcing.
• Identify substitution opportunities and cost-down initiatives.
• Maintain pricing and costing accuracy in SAP and ensure policy compliance.

Drive profitable growth through effective pricing and strategic sourcing, ensuring competitive positioning, optimized product portfolio margins. The role bridges cost management, pricing execution, and supply continuity to support category performance.

Pricing Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement pricing structures aligned with category strategy

Monitor and manage: Pricing performance, Price realization and leakage

Support price adjustments : Cost Changes , Market competitiveness

Costing & Margin Management : Analyze cost structures and margin performance at SKU and category level , Conduct what-if simulations: Price increase , pass thru and promotional initiatives.

Market & Competitive Benchmarking : Benchmark against key brands and market alternatives , Pricing Validation thru internal pricing clawing system.

System & Data Governance : Maintain pricing and costing accuracy in SAP

Ensure compliance with pricing policies and audit requirements

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Lead sourcing activities : RFQ / RFP processes, Cost benchmarking

Strategic Sourcing for Substitution opportunities , Cost-down alternatives

Qualifications

Degree inBusiness Administration or Supply Chain, with exposure toData Analytics or Finance, and aminimum of 2 years of related experience.

Proficiency inadvanced Microsoft Exceland strongnegotiation and commercial thinking skills, withsourcing experience.

Effective communicator, well-versed inverbal and written communication in English and the native language.

Relevant working experience with the ability tounderstand margin and pricing logic, including:

Supplier or commercial exposure

Understanding oftrade terms(rebates, MOQs, credit terms)

Knowledge ofmarkup and cost pass-through concepts.

Salary range between MYR3.5k-MYR4k
