Job summary

Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd is seeking a pricing analyst to support day-to-day product pricing activities and provide ongoing pricing-related assistance to operations and distribution channels.

You will perform pricing analysis, assist with product launches, and work with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure financial soundness and policy compliance. The role requires actuarial knowledge and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science is required.
• 2–3 years of actuarial experience, preferably in product pricing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; programming knowledge and tools such as DCS and Prophet are a plus.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities; detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Active pursuit of actuarial professional papers.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day pricing activities and pricing-related proposals.
• Assist in pricing development, launches, and analyses with Sales, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct pricing analyses, perform UAT, and support pricing system enhancements and production issues.
• Provide pricing support for routine business needs and documentation to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, tools, and efficiency.

Job description

Responsible to assist Supervisor/HOD in carrying out day to day product pricing activities and provide on-going pricing-related support to operation teams and all distribution channels. To ensure all day-to-day tasks are carried on a financial sound basis and comply with both internal policy & regulatory guideline.

Job Responsibility

Support product development and pricing activities, including pricing analysis, business proposals and product launches.

Work closely with Sales, Product, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure pricing is financially and business sound.

Perform UAT and support pricing-related system enhancements and production issues.

Provide pricing support and analysis for day-to-day business needs.

Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, tools and work efficiency.

Ensure proper documentation, compliance with relevant guidelines.

Ensure high quality of work.

Job Requirement

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science.

At least 2 - 3 year(s) of working experience in Actuarial field, preferably in Product Pricing role.

Excel in using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, plus point to have good knowledge in programming and software such as DCS and Prophet.

Good technical and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented, efficient, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.

Sound actuarial knowledge, pricing or valuation background and is actively pursuing professional papers.
