Job summary

Quanterm Logistics Sdn Bhd, headquartered in Shah Alam, invites applications for a role supporting the FCL Pricing Department. The job focuses on obtaining competitive freight rates, preparing quotations, and improving pricing efficiency to drive growth in FCL shipment volume.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with 1–2 years in freight forwarding or logistics advantageous. You will work with Sales and overseas branches to ensure timely, accurate pricing and maintain pricing records and reports.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1-2 years in freight/logistics is an advantage.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Admin or related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and negotiate FCL freight rates with shipping lines, NVOCC and vendors.
• Prepare and provide freight quotations for the Sales Team and overseas branches.
• Maintain and update freight rates in the pricing system to ensure accuracy and validity.
• Monitor freight market trends, carrier rate changes, and space availability.
• Follow up rate inquiries and ensure quotations are submitted within the required timeline.
• Maintain proper pricing records and assist in preparing pricing reports and market updates.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of FCL pricing processes and systems.
