Job summary

PacTech Asia Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining machinery at optimum performance. Diploma holders will perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.

You will work with a technician team, report daily activity, and assist engineers. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; knowledge of MS Office and English/Bahasa Malaysia is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronic).
• 2 years of working experience in the related field; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Knowledge in electrical & electronics; hands-on experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to be trained to install, perform preventive maintenance & repair machines.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office (Words/Excel/PowerPoint).

Possess a reasonable working knowledge in the related practices in the industry.

Work as a team with other technician for effective troubleshooting.

Provide basic failure report to engineer, production and stake holders.

Job Requirement:

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronic).

2 years of working experience in the related field, solid knowledge of electrical & electronics and hands-on work experience.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge on electrical and mechanical.

Able to work in normal shift or routine shift and support overtime when required.

Willingness together with capabilities to be trained to do installation, preventive maintenance & repair different types of machines and process.

Experience in SMT/Litho/Plating/BMC/Sputter/Dicing/Backgrind will be added advantages.

Able to use computer and familiar with MS Office - Words/Excel/PowerPoint.

Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Have good interpersonal skills.
