Job summary

PacTech Asia Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining machinery at optimum performance. Diploma holders will perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.

You will work with a technician team, report daily activity, and assist engineers. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; knowledge of MS Office and English/Bahasa Malaysia is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronic).
• 2 years of working experience in the related field; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Knowledge in electrical & electronics; hands-on experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to be trained to install, perform preventive maintenance & repair machines.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office (Words/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support production by maintaining process at optimum machine performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Responsibilities include service systems, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.
• Work as a team with other technicians for effective troubleshooting.
• Report daily activity and status through all communication media.
• Provide basic failure reports to engineers, production and stakeholders.
