Job summary

Seki Aoi Techno (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Melaka is seeking an SMT Technician to operate and maintain electronic assembly equipment, program universal machines, screen printers, SPI, reflow ovens, AOI and soldering systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, provide 1st level PCBA support, analyze data to improve processes, and comply with ISO practices. Diploma holders in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical engineering encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 1 year of experience in related field; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with electronic products and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
• Computer literate and able to work under time pressure.
• Good Bahasa Malaysia and English communication.
• ISO knowledge is preferable.
• Experience with High Level Assembly and quality reporting.

Responsibilities

Work in the SMT Department understanding equipment operations

Able to program universal machines, screen printers, SPI, reflow ovens, AOI and selective soldering.

Troubleshooting of equipment.

1st level support for PCBA production

Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of electronic circuit board manufacturing equipment and systems

Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to assist in troubleshooting and to procure replacement parts

Analyse data to identify and resolve systemic process and performance issues

Performs other duties as assigned or required

Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

1 year (s) of working experience in the related field/ fresh graduates are encourage to apply.

Technical knowledge and experience with electronic products and processes along product lifecycle, experience with electronic industry manufacturing equipment.

Ability to solve complex problems.

Must be computer literate.

Good verbal and inter communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Able to work under time pressure

Able to attend Recovery / Overtime on non-working days.

Knowledge of ISO is preferable.

Experience in using Precision Machining Process and Continous improvement process.

Experience with manufacturing environment Higher Level Assembly (HLA).

Experience in Quality report and Presentation material format.
