Supervise and support the operation of hydraulic or mechanical tile pressing machines.
Monitor key parameters such as pressure, cycle time, mold alignment, and automation sequences.
Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures are followed.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or automation issues on press equipment.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.
Maintain accurate records of breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Analyze process performance data and recommend improvements to cycle time, press efficiency, and quality consistency.
Implement small-scale projects or modifications to improve safety, performance, and energy efficiency.
Collaborate with quality and production teams to reduce defects such as cracks, warping, or improper compaction.
Work with PLCs, HMI systems, and sensor networks to ensure accurate machine control.
Adjust and fine-tune press automation settings to optimize machine cycles and coordination with conveyors and feeders.
Support the integration of new technologies and digital monitoring tools in the press area.
Ensure all activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and workplace regulations.
Participate in safety audits and assist in risk assessments related to press operations.
Promote 5S, Kaizen, and other lean manufacturing practices in the press department.
Prepare daily shift reports and technical incident logs.
Coordinate with production supervisors, maintenance, and quality assurance teams.
Provide training or guidance to operators and technicians on press equipment and process standards.

Strong foundation in mechatronics (mechanical, electrical, and control systems integration).
Familiarity with ceramic tile press equipment and pressing processes.
Knowledge of PLC programming (basic), HMI operation, and automation controls.
Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics and troubleshoot system faults.
Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
Strong analytical thinking, documentation ability, and a hands‑on approach.
Willingness to work shifts or respond to urgent issues after hours if required.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in a production or maintenance engineering role, preferably in the ceramic tile, heavy industry, or automated manufacturing environment.
Familiar with hydraulic/mechanical presses, automation systems, and PLCs.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems, sensors, servo drives, and safety devices is preferred.
