Job summary

Guocera Tile Industries seeks an experienced Maintenance & Automation Engineer to oversee press machine operations and drive reliability across hydraulic and mechanical presses. You will monitor key parameters, troubleshoot electrical and automation issues, and support preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires a solid mechatronics background, familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and sensors, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to improve safety,

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mechatronics (mechanical, electrical, control integration).
• Experience with ceramic tile press equipment or automated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (basic), HMI operation, and automation controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support operation of hydraulic or mechanical tile pressing machines.
• Monitor pressure, cycle time, mold alignment, and automation sequences.
• Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or automation issues on press equipment.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.
• Prepare daily shift reports and coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
