Job summary

HAIWU Technology Co., Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Pre-sales Engineer(APAC) to bridge customers and product teams, focusing on cooling and thermal management solutions for data centers.

You will lead technical design, deliver customized proposals, and demonstrate products to clients. The role requires a technical degree, at least two years in pre-sales or technical sales, and fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pre-sales/support or technical sales; familiarity with air conditioners, fan walls, CDUs.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay.
• Excellent customer communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear client value propositions.
• Proficiency in MS Office for technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits.

Position: Data Center Infrastructure Pre-sales Engineer(APAC)

We are a rapidly growing provider of critical data center infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region, specializing in advanced and reliable cooling and thermal management solutions. To support our deep expansion into the Malaysian market, we are now seeking a communicative and technically proficient pre-sales expert to serve as a key bridge between the company and our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Act as a technical consultant, engaging directly with customers and partners in the Malaysian market to gain an in-depth understanding of their data center needs and challenges related to cooling (e.g., precision air conditioning, fan walls, CDUs).
• Lead the design and presentation of customized technical solutions and value propositions, building customer trust through professional PPT presentations, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop technical proposals, product selection, quotation support, and technical clarifications during the bidding process, ensuring solution accuracy and competitiveness.
• Systematically collect, analyze, and feedback frontline market information, customer pain points, and competitor trends, providing critical input for the company’s product strategy and market decisions.
• Ensure that customer requirements are clearly and accurately communicated to the product, R&D, and project teams.

We expect you to have:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pre-sales support, technical sales, familiarity with air conditioner, fan walls, CDUs, and similar products is preferred.
• Language proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay.
• Excellent customer communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable value propositions for clients.
• Basic proposal design and quotation skills, with proficiency in using Office tools to create technical documentation.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
